Patrols

The primary role of any Surf Life Saving Club is the safety of the beach going public.  In Broome, the season runs from May to October with patrols every Sunday on Cable Beach.  You will find us at the patrol shelter, situated between the yellow and red flags!

Becoming a surf life saver is fun and rewarding.  As an active member of Broome SLSC, you will be placed in a patrol group on a regular rotation basis, where you enjoy the company of other surf life savers and carry out patrols ensuring that the general public is in a safe and friendly environment.  To be an active member, you must have recently completed your Bronze Medallion (or any requalification) and your Surf Rescue Certificate.

If you are interested in becoming an active, patrolling member of Broome Surf Life Saving Club, please email admin@broomeslsc.org.au

Want to get involved without patrolling?  No problem, there are heaps of ways to get involved without even getting in the water.
